♦ |
Follow your Home
Owner's manual for safety, maintenance & trouble shooting
needs.
|
|
♦ |
Maintain water ranges
by testing your water weekly with a test kit or strips. |
|
♦ |
Flush garden hose
before using it to fill spa or clean filters. |
|
♦ |
Use a high pressure
garden nozzle for cleaning your filters. Power wash will work,
IF
you can control the pressure. Filter media is not auto steel. |
|
♦ |
Shut power off, remove
all items from spa (duck, etc.) and the Nature 2
cartridge (if you use this system) before you clean filters, drain
& refill. |

The Big Kahuna:
Clean filter (polyester pleated cartridge). Dirty filters make
jets weak, heaters shut off and are NOT covered
under warranty. Use hot water if possible and/or soak in "Filter
Cleaner". Rinse thoroughly. To remove stains: Mix 1
part muriatic acid to 10 parts water. Soak 24 hours. Rinse well
and dry. Large well cleaned filters last 1-2 years. |
|
♦ |
Vacuum any debris from
bottom and clean the drain covers so they are free of hair, etc. |
|
♦ |
Clean and condition
the cover and pillows. Never use a shovel to remove snow off top. |
|
♦ |
Always use caution
when using any chemicals. Never mix chemicals together, but apply
separately. Do not apply chemicals to the water when people are in
the spa. Keep all chemicals away from children, pets and freezing
temps. Always read label instructions. |

Ozonators decrease
about 70-80% of the amount of needed sanitizer. They do not do
100%. The amount of ozone output decreases with age. Bulbs need to
be replaced for maximum output approximately every 2 years. We use
Corona Discharge ozonators which do not require a light bulb &
increases the amount of ozone that is injected into the water
for clear, sparkling waters. |
